Vagus Nerve Stimulation
The vagus nerve plays an important role in helping the body regulate rest, digestion, heart rhythm, mood, and relaxation.
Gentle vagus nerve stimulation may help encourage the body to shift out of “fight or flight” mode and into a calmer, more grounded state.
Support a calm, relaxed, and balance nervous system with gentle vagus nerve stimulation designed to help your body feel safe, centered, and restored.
Vagus Nerve Therapy for Stress, Sleep & Nervous System Support
Your body has a powerful built-in pathway for calming, restoring, and regulating itself: The Vagus Nerve.
The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body. It begins in the brainstem and travels through the neck, chest, diaphragm, and abdomen, communicating with major organs including the heart, lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas, kidneys, and intestines.
Think of the vagus nerve as a communication superhighway between your brain and body.
This nerve plays a key role in the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the body’s “rest, digest, and recover” system. While the sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the “fight or flight” response, the parasympathetic system helps bring the body back into a calmer, more balanced state.
When supported, the vagus nerve may help promote relaxation, healthy digestion, sleep support, nervous system balance, and the body’s natural recovery process.
How Pulsetto Vagus Nerve Therapy Works
At Forme’ Sculpting & Wellness Studio, we use Pulsetto, a non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation device worn comfortably around the neck. Pulsetto delivers gentle electrical pulses through the skin to help activate and support the vagus nerve.
This therapy is designed to support relaxation, stress resilience, emotional balance, sleep quality, and gut-brain wellness as part of a whole-body wellness routine.
Clinical Study Results
In a clinical study conducted in Lithuania, researchers studied 40 adults using Pulsetto twice daily for 8 minutes per session over a four-week period.
The study measured stress, anxiety, and sleep at the start of the study, again at two weeks, and again at four weeks. Researchers also measured cortisol, the body’s primary stress hormone, using hair samples collected before and after four weeks of Pulsetto use.
The Reported results included:
Stress symptoms dropped by 39% at two weeks and by 56% at four weeks.
Anxiety symptoms dropped by 31% at two weeks and by 45% at four weeks.
Many participants reported better sleep within two weeks.
70% of users had lower cortisol levels after four weeks.
Cortisol levels dropped by 42% in men and 37% in women.
These results show a measurable change in a biological marker of stress, along with improvements in stress, anxiety, and sleep scores after consistent vagus nerve stimulation.
A Wellness-Based Approach
While vagus nerve stimulation has FDA-approved medical uses in certain clinical settings, Forme’ Sculpting & Wellness Studio offers Vagus Nerve Therapy as a non-invasive wellness service.
We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our goal is to help support your body’s natural ability to relax, reset, and restore its balance. Your Vagus nerve is one of your body’s built-in pathways for calm and recovery. Stimulation allows you to gently support that pathway through a simple, comfortable, non-invasive wellness session.
